Mercy Chinwo got married on 13 August 2022 to her husband, Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa in Port Harcourt. They are blessed with their first child and both reside in Lagos, Nigeria.

Chinwo is noted for her modesty and commitment to charity initiatives outside of her music profession. She has participated in a number of philanthropic activities. Impressively, she uses her position to advocate for good change and to support groups that aim to empower communities. Mercy, alongside her husband began the Mercy is Blessed Foundation in 2023. It is an NGO focused on donations to the less privileged as well as youth development initiatives.
