Sabrina Carpenter started her acting and musical journey at a young age. She was born on May 11, 1999 in Quakertown, Pennsylvania. Impressively, as a young talent, she was inspired by music from Christina Aguilera and Adele. Her love for acting was particularly obvious from a young age. Moreover, Sabrina’s dad played a very important role while she was growing up. She had all the support to grow in the creative arts and blossom. As a growing talent, she enjoyed the flexibility provided by her home schooling.
Interestingly, at age 11, Sabrina appeared on the movie, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Recalling her first acting role, she stated: “It was so dramatic and scary. And that kind of made me want to get into acting. It was so new that I didn’t know anything. I didn’t even know what craft service was. So I was really hungry all day and I was like, I’m just so hungry…”
Carpenter was cast as Maya Hart in the Disney Channel series, Girl Meets World. Besides, she learnt a lot about acting from her niece, who really influenced her acting at a very young age. In 2016, she acted as Jenny in the Disney Channel Original Movie Adventures in Babysitting. Furthermore, Sabrina featured in The Hate U Give (2018) and also as a voice actress she played the role of Princess Vivian in the animated series, Sofia the First from 2013 to 2018. Carpenter also played the role of Melissa Chase on the Disney XD animated series Milo Murphy’s Law.
